By using our website and booking services with Clarity Tinting ("we," "our," "us"), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Services Provided
We specialize in automotive, residential, and commercial window tinting. Services are provided by appointment only, and pricing is subject to change.
Cancellations, No-Shows & Deposits
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged a $100 fee.
- For mobile tinting services, the deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is canceled or missed.
Tint Laws & Compliance
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with state tinting laws. Clarity Tinting is not responsible if a customer receives a ticket, fine, or is required to remove tint to comply with legal regulations.
Oregon Tint Laws
- Minimum visible light transmittance (VLT): 35%
- Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed only on the top six inches.
- Front, back, and rear side windows cannot be darker than 35% VLT.
Washington Tint Laws
- Windshield: UV screening clear film is allowed; non-reflective tint is permitted on the top six inches.
- Front and back side windows must allow at least 24% of light through the glass.
- Rear window must allow at least 24% of light through the glass.
Warranty & Liability
- Our tint services come with a limited warranty against bubbling, peeling, and fading (duration depends on the film used).
- We are not responsible for pre-existing defects in vehicle windows, including scratches, chips, or prior tint removal damage.
- We are not liable for any fines, citations, or required tint removal due to legal non-compliance.
Window Film Care & Maintenance
- Do not roll down windows for at least 5-7 days after tint installation.
- Allow two to four weeks for any haziness or bubbles to fully dry out.
- Use only ammonia-free cleaners when cleaning tinted windows to avoid damage.
- Do not use rough sponges or razor blades on the film.
- Refunds or reinstallation will not be offered due to improper care.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who engages in abusive behavior, refuses payment, or violates these terms.
Refunds & Reinstallation
All tinting services are non-refundable once installation is completed. If there is an issue with the film or installation, we will assess and determine if a reinstallation is necessary based on warranty coverage.
Legal Disclaimers
- Clarity Tinting is not responsible for items left inside vehicles.
- We are not liable for damages caused by improper care or maintenance after installation.
- Customers are responsible for informing us about any factory defects or existing film on windows before installation.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be governed under Oregon law and resolved through arbitration or small claims court.
